Premier League legend pursued a career in wrestling after football career with major regret.

Former Premier League player Grant Holt retired from football in 2018 and transitioned to a career in wrestling. Holt had a successful football career, notably at Norwich City, where he made 168 senior appearances and played a crucial role in the team’s survival in the Premier League. After retiring from football, he made his wrestling debut at the company’s Fightmare event and won a 40-man Royal Rumble.

Holt explained in an interview with talkSPORT that he was approached by WAW to participate in a charity event, which eventually led to his involvement in wrestling. He expressed his regret for not pursuing wrestling earlier in his life and emphasized his commitment to learning the skills and techniques required for the sport.
