This result has put Liverpool’s title hopes in jeopardy after a difficult run of form, with just five points picked up from their last five league matches. Since joining Liverpool in 2017, Salah has been a key player for the team but was surprisingly absent from the starting lineup against West Ham.

After the match, Salah was seen arguing with manager Jurgen Klopp, and he later headed straight off the pitch without acknowledging his opponents and the Reds fans. When questioned about the title race, Klopp expressed disinterest and focused on preparing the team for the next game.

Liverpool’s title challenge started to falter earlier this month, with disappointing results against Manchester United and Crystal Palace. After losing to Everton in the Merseyside derby and dropping more points in their latest match, Liverpool’s title hopes seem to be fading.

Klopp is expected to depart from Liverpool after a tenure of nearly nine years.
