Mbappe, one of the top players globally, is nearing the end of his contract this season, sparking intense speculation about his next move. Despite expectations of a move to Real Madrid, no agreement has been reached yet. His camp is reportedly unsatisfied with the offer from the La Liga leaders, and there’s uncertainty about his future with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Last year, his representatives approached Liverpool, but the club did not make an offer due to concerns about disrupting their financial structure and Mbappe’s salary expectations.
His current earnings are substantial – approximately £64 million a year after tax and before bonuses, or £1.2 million per week. Despite this, there is reported interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool, but neither club seems willing to compromise their financial strategies to accommodate his salary demands. Real Madrid remains a likely destination for Mbappe if he chooses to leave PSG, particularly with very few other clubs capable of meeting his financial demands. Manchester City is preoccupied with retaining Erling Haaland, making Madrid an even more attractive option.
Despite the speculation, Mbappe remains focused on his current season with PSG, aiming to help the team succeed in the Champions League.
