Kyle Walker’s spouse instructs Lauryn Goodman to stay clear of Euro 2024.

Annie Kilner, the wife of England footballer Kyle Walker, has reportedly expressed concerns to friends about Lauryn Goodman attending Euro 2024, fearing she could cause drama and distract from the national team’s efforts. The Sun claims Annie is worried that Lauryn’s presence could affect England’s chances at the tournament. Kyle Walker, a key player for Manchester City, is expected to join the England squad in their quest for glory at the Euros, aiming to secure their first major trophy since 1966. With 82 caps to his name and having played in almost all of the qualifying matches, Walker’s performance will be crucial.

Despite Lauryn’s intentions to bring her two children to support their father, Annie’s reported comments to a friend suggest she’s apprehensive about the potential public spectacle. According to The Sun, Annie told a friend: “Lauryn says she’ll go to Germany and, whilst that’s her right, I don’t understand why she is making it such a public affair. Presumably she will post images of her children wearing England shirts with ‘Daddy’ on the back.” “It will inevitably create a drama and the noise surrounding it will be an unwelcome distraction for the team.

England has the best chance of winning a major trophy since 1966 and they don’t need this. Kyle is focused on what he needs to do on the pitch and that has never wavered – but the gossip off it affects me and the children.” The wife of English footballer Walker expressed her concern about the effect these events could have on her offspring, telling a close companion: “We all need some breathing space. The spotlight feels relentless.”

In December, Annie was in disbelief when Walker admitted to fathering another child with Lauryn. During a chat with The Sun preceding this year, Walker, aged 33, confessed: “I am a private man but I accept that I am a public figure and I need to address what I’ve done. “It hasn’t helped that it has been played out in the media. But I’ve chosen to speak now in the hope that I can at least explain myself and enable my wife and children to have the privacy they so desperately need and deserve.”
