West Ham, along with a few other Premier League clubs, are monitoring Jota Silva. Vitoria de Guimaraes is reportedly willing to sell the 24-year-old for less than his release clause as he approaches the final year of his contract.
Recently, West Ham sent scouts to watch Jota, who has been in impressive form, including scoring in a notable win against Porto. Brighton and Fulham are also closely monitoring the situation, as Jota looks set to leave Portugal for the Premier League.
Jota, who earned his first two caps for Portugal in the last international break, has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League and reach the top level. While Jota has a release clause of £17 million, Vitoria de Guimaraes may be willing to sell for around £7 million to avoid losing him for free in a year.
Additionally, Wolves have shown interest in the winger through their Portuguese scouting network. There is speculation that Jota could be one of several overseas recruits for West Ham if they appoint Sporting boss Ruben Amorim.
The club is also preparing for potential departures, which could open up space for Jota’s arrival.
