The new sticker album has notable absentees such as Foden, Saka, Marcus Rashford, Kyle Walker, and John Stones. Additionally, players who may not even feature in the upcoming tournament, like Callum Wilson, Rico Lewis, and Fikayo Tomori, have been included.
The album even features a sticker of Leicester defender Luke Thomas, who is currently on loan at Middlesbrough. Topps has blamed Panini for blocking certain parts of the collection.
A spokesperson for Topps expressed disappointment over the absence of a small number of players due to the former sticker partner’s interference. They emphasized their commitment to the fans and their excitement for the tournament.
The sticker album has also included stickers for the Wales team, although they did not qualify for the tournament. This was reportedly printed before Wales’ defeat by Poland in a play-off at the end of last month.
According to The Telegraph, Panini retains the rights to aspects of some top teams at Euro 2024 and has produced its own rival sticker album. Fans will need to spend a significant amount to complete the sticker books, with Topps and Panini both selling sticker packets at different prices.
The Topps album contains 728 stickers, while the Panini album consists of 387 stickers. The Euro 2024 is scheduled to begin on Friday, June 14 with hosts Germany taking on Scotland.
England, France, and Germany are the top favorites for the title.
