Brian Brobbey, the Ajax star, has expressed his interest in joining Manchester United. He was a target for the club in the past but remained at Ajax. Now, he has openly welcomed a potential second approach from the Premier League outfit.
Manchester United is currently seeking a striker for the upcoming season, and Brobbey hopes to catch their attention, stating that he is eager to move to the Theatre of Dreams. However, he also emphasized that he will not come cheap, as he believes that his transfer value will rise over the summer. In an interview with Men’s Health, Brobbey expressed his ambitions to achieve great things in his career, including playing for big football clubs such as Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester United. He mentioned that his transfer value could rise to €80m (£68m) after the European Championships and hopes to make an impact during the tournament to further increase his value.
Acknowledging his debt to Ajax for bringing him back after leaving, he also expressed his gratitude to the club. At just 22 years old, Brobbey has scored 17 goals in 25 league appearances, solidifying his position as one of the most promising young talents in the Eredivisie.
