The club is prepared to financially support a £160 million transfer pursuit of Isak and Michael Olise, in order to strengthen their attacking options and maintain a Premier League title challenge in the upcoming season. The Gunners experienced a lack of a prolific No.
9 this season and are expected to address this by pursuing a new center-forward in the summer. Reports suggest that Isak, who has scored 21 goals across all competitions, is a primary target.
There is also interest in Crystal Palace playmaker Olise. The potential cost for Isak is estimated at £100m.
Additionally, Isak’s Sweden team-mate Viktor Gyokeres has been identified as an alternative striker target, with a £65m release clause. Dusan Vlahovic, a long-term target, and recent snub to join Arsenal, remains on the club’s forward shortlist.
Arsenal recently faced setbacks in their pursuit of silverware, losing their top spot in the Premier League to Manchester City and being eliminated from the Champions League by Bayern Munich.
