Christian Eriksen’s future at Manchester United is uncertain beyond this season, according to Brentford boss Thomas Frank. Amid rumors of a potential transfer, Frank has expressed his feelings about the midfielder’s situation. Eriksen, who joined United as a free agent in 2022, has seen a reduced role at the club recently, despite still being valued by manager Erik ten Hag.
However, he has found himself behind Kobbie Mainoo and Scott McTominay in team selection, having started only nine Premier League games this season and with less than 18 months left on his contract. This upcoming summer may be United’s last opportunity to sell Eriksen before his contract expires. Frank has stated that Eriksen will always be welcomed back at Brentford as long as he is in charge.
