Man Utd 2024-25 kits ‘leaked’ by Adidas, paying tribute to Sir Alex Ferguson’s glory days.

Manchester United’s 2024-25 kits have reportedly been ‘leaked’ with supporters noticing a nostalgic resemblance. Shirts purporting to be the new jerseys for Erik ten Hag’s side next season have circulated online. The new shirts bear the ‘Snapdragon’ logo, the sponsor that will appear on the front of their kits from next season.

They also feature the Adidas logo, the club’s official manufacturing partner. If the kits really are the ones to be worn by United next season, then Adidas have thrown it back to the 2000s when the Red Devils continued to dominate English and European football. The home shirt, initially appearing on TikTok account UtdChants, has a striking resemblance to the kit worn at Old Trafford for the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Another reportedly ‘leaked’ jersey shows United’s potential away kit for next season. The current black and white striped away shirt carries the colour scheme worn by some of United’s first teams. In 2023-24, a white collar on the home red shirt bore a likeness to shirts worn in the Treble-winning 1998-99 season.

United might hope that next season’s kit brings some better results on the pitch. Although Ten Hag’s side are unbeaten since the turn of the year, a dismal run of form prior to Christmas left the Dutch head coach’s job hanging by a thread. They were dumped out of the Champions League and Carabao Cup, and now face a battle to qualify for the elite European competition for next season.

United are sixth in the Premier League, eight points off fourth-placed Aston Villa.
