Man Utd’s target Michael Olise’s transfer hopes may have been spoilt

Michael Olise is a top target for Manchester United in the upcoming summer transfer window. However, his chances of joining the club have been jeopardized by a third hamstring injury of the season. The Crystal Palace forward suffered the injury after coming on as a substitute in a match against Brighton and is now expected to be sidelined for at least two months. The 22-year-old had previously been out from June to November with a hamstring problem before suffering another issue in January.

Despite his potential to improve Manchester United’s attack, there are now concerns about the severity of his recurring hamstring problems. Although Olise had a release clause in his contract worth £35 million, United will need to carefully consider whether it is worth investing in a player who has been plagued by injuries. Nevertheless, the player has shown promise in the limited appearances he has made this season, with six goals and three assists in the Premier League. Despite his injury setbacks, Olise remains a fan of Manchester United and has expressed his preference to move to Old Trafford.

It remains to be seen whether the club will still pursue their interest in the player given his injury-hit season and the need for reliable players in their squad. In conclusion, Manchester United will have to weigh the risks and benefits of pursuing the talented winger, considering his injury history and the potential impact he could have on the team when fit.
