Arsenal news: Arteta’s clear feelings mean five stars may never play for club again.

The future of five Arsenal players under Mikel Arteta’s management has come under question, as they may have already played their final games for the club. Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares have seen limited playing time, with Elneny’s contract set to expire in June and Cedric’s chances of featuring in the Premier League run-in looking slim. Kieran Tierney, who spent the season on loan at Real Sociedad, is facing tough competition at left-back and has expressed a desire to stay at his loan club.

Nuno Tavares, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, is also unlikely to have a future in the Arsenal first team, but has shown promise during his loan spell. Fabio Vieira, who has struggled for game time, may need to seek opportunities elsewhere in the summer. Arteta has admitted that he has not played Vieira enough, and it is uncertain whether he will see further action at Arsenal.
