Victor Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli at the end of the current season. Chelsea is interested in signing Osimhen, and there are reports that teenager Kendry Paez could also join Stamford Bridge.
Osimhen hinted at his departure from Napoli during the Africa Cup of Nations, stating that he has already made a decision on his next step. The 25-year-old has a release clause of £111 million in his contract, and Chelsea is reportedly leading the race to sign him.
Kendry Paez, a 16-year-old sensation, has already agreed to a move to Chelsea but will not join the team until 2025. His agent believes that Paez has the potential to be a Ballon d’Or level talent.
Paez, who has already made appearances for the senior Ecuador national team, visited Stamford Bridge in December. He could potentially form a strong partnership with Osimhen if both players join Chelsea.
Kendry Paez, who will turn 17 in May, played for Ecuadorian side Independiente del Valle last season and also has five international caps to his name. The young talent visited Stamford Bridge in December and is expected to join Chelsea in 2025 after turning 18.
Chelsea is allegedly considering pursuing Osimhen, and if the move happens, Paez and Osimhen could potentially play together.
