Three of Harry Kane’s children were reportedly involved in a serious car crash. The incident occurred as Kane was traveling to London with Bayern Munich ahead of their game against Arsenal.
The crash took place near Munich, where a Renault collided with an oncoming Mercedes van as it turned onto a motorway slip road. Kane’s children, aged three, five, and seven, were in the van and taken to the hospital in an ambulance after suffering minor injuries.
The fourth child, eight-month-old Henry, was not reported to have been involved in the collision. The accident caused the Renault to skid across the road before colliding with a Land Rover.
All eight passengers involved were treated at local hospitals for their injuries. The Renault was being driven by a 20-year-old woman who was accompanied by a three-year-old child and two adults aged 43 and 48.
Another woman, aged 24, was reportedly behind the wheel of the Mercedes van, and a woman aged 62, driving the Land Rover, was taken to the hospital for precautionary checks. Kane was informed of the crash before playing against Arsenal and decided to stay and prepare for the match after learning that his children were safe.
He had just landed in London when the crash occurred. This was his first club appearance in England since joining Bayern from Tottenham.
Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal in the match, followed by a leveller from Bayern’s Serge Gnabry. Kane scored Bayern’s second from the penalty spot, and Arsenal secured a draw in the closing stages through Leandro Trossard.
