Rumors suggest that he may take a break from football, but Borussia Dortmund is reportedly ready to offer him an executive role once he is prepared to return.
Klopp enjoyed a successful seven-year stint with Dortmund from 2008 to 2015, winning two Bundesliga titles and a DFB-Pokal, and reaching the final of the Champions League. After a six-month break, he took over at Anfield, and now, with just four more games in charge of Liverpool, he has vowed to take at least a year out of the game once his tenure ends. Klopp’s announcement coincides with reports of his plans to take a hands-on role in the construction of his homes in both Germany and England. He has expressed a desire to avoid labor costs due to the significant expense of the building work.
The house in Germany is being built so that Klopp and his wife Ulla can be near their family, as they have recently become grandparents.
