Liverpool excludes Premier League manager from consideration to replace Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool are reportedly ruling out the possibility of hiring Wolves boss Gary O’Neil in the summer as a replacement for Jurgen Klopp. The club is currently narrowing down a list of potential candidates for the Anfield job next season.

Surprisingly, it appears that Ruben Amorim, the Portuguese coach, will not be replacing Klopp, as he has been linked with a move from Sporting CP to West Ham. Additionally, former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso has declared that he will not be taking the job, nor will he be taking the vacant position at Bayern Munich.

Instead, Alonso has committed to continuing at Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen for at least another season. For the latest updates on this breaking news story, visit express.co.uk/sport/football.
