Former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez was hospitalized in Buenos Aires after experiencing chest pain. Tevez, who is currently managing top-flight club Independiente, spent the night at a hospital in San Isidro and is scheduled for further testing. Independiente confirmed the hospitalization through an official statement, indicating that the initial results were ‘satisfactory’ and Tevez would continue with a series of scheduled tests as part of a general check-up. The club added that Tevez will remain hospitalized as a precaution until the corresponding tests are completed.
Despite the news, Tevez has not made any official comment on the matter. It is reported that he suffers from high blood pressure and undergoes regular medical checks. Tevez had previously been injured due to a fall in his house, which caused him to faint and hit his head, requiring hospital treatment. Carlos Tevez started his career at Boca Juniors before playing for West Ham, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
After a brief stint in China, he returned to Boca Juniors, where he retired and transitioned into management.
