Pacho, who has only been in the Bundesliga for a year, has already attracted attention from the Premier League due to his impressive performances. Frankfurt has set an approximate price tag of £51m for the centre-back, in response to inquiries from Arsenal and Liverpool regarding his availability in the upcoming summer transfer window.

With over four years left on his contract, Frankfurt holds significant leverage in any negotiations and will likely assess offers from Europe’s elite. Arsenal is keen on adding competition for Gabriel and William Saliba, especially after Saliba’s injury disrupted their previous season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool is facing potential defensive challenges with the impending departure of Joel Matip and concerns about Ibrahima Konate’s fitness. The Reds are also wary of the possibility that Virgil van Dijk may not extend his contract beyond 2025.

Reports suggest that Frankfurt is already considering potential replacements for Pacho, fueling speculation that he may depart Germany this summer. The club is reportedly interested in Koln defender Julian Chabot and PAOK’s Konstantinos Koulierakis as potential replacements.

Pacho’s promising career has been on an upward trajectory, beginning at Independiente del Valle’s youth academy, where he played a key role in winning the Ecuadorian league title in 2021. Following a successful spell at Royal Antwerp, Pacho opted to join Frankfurt and has continued to impress, attracting interest from several Premier League teams.

Although Frankfurt is demanding a significant profit for his departure, their financial position will be further strengthened if they secure participation in the Europa Conference League next season.
