Andy Cole expressed his view on the situation, stating that when a player moves to a new club, they are typically expected to become the number one in their position.
He believes Ramsdale has been unfairly treated by Arteta, who initially claimed to have two number one goalkeepers, a statement Cole deems as “complete nonsense.” Additionally, Cole criticized Arteta for disregarding Ramsdale, labeling it as disrespectful.
Despite the tough competition, Arsenal sit at the top of the Premier League, holding an advantageous position in the title race over Liverpool and Manchester City. Ramsdale’s lack of playing time has raised concerns about his future at the club.
